I an Sanjay i had applied for renewal of passport in Bangalore .
my passport verification notice was send to police" Hennur police" station, Bangalore as their was change of address with respect to the old passport .
i received call form the police station for carrying out the verification when i went their he was asking me documents that i think were not relevant for verification.
and i had already submitted for verification during the application for renewal. i said to him i don,t have them readily available i need time to get them
he was looking for bribe from me so to get my passport verification done . he warned me that my passport will get canceled if i don,t comply.
I told him do what he can i am not going to pay the bribe . i don,t know what is the status of verification . i had given bribe for verification for my first passport but decided that this time i will prefer to avoid giving one .
